Refunds & Support
This page covers two very different kinds of payment: your DivePrep subscription (paid to us), and the payments your divers make to your dive center through DivePrep booking links (paid to you). They are handled separately — please read the right section.
Your DivePrep subscription
- Cancel anytime. You can cancel your subscription whenever you like. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep full access until then.
- No partial-month refunds. Because you keep access for the rest of the period you already paid for, we don’t refund the unused remainder of a month.
- Plan changes are prorated automatically. If you upgrade or downgrade mid-cycle, Stripe automatically prorates the difference — you don’t need to ask for an adjustment.
- Failed payments never delete data. If a payment fails, we retry it during a short grace period; if it still can’t be collected, your account simply returns to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted.
- Duplicate or erroneous charges. If you were charged twice or in error, contact us within 30 days at support@diveprep.app and we’ll put it right.
- Referral free months have no cash value and are not refundable or exchangeable for money.
Payments your divers make to your dive center
This is the important part: payments divers make to a dive center through DivePrep booking links go directly to that dive center’s own Stripe or Wise account, or to another custom external payment account chosen by that dive center. DivePrep never holds, controls, or refunds those funds.
Refunds, cancellations, and disputes for trips and bookings are handled by the dive center under its own policy. If you are a diver who needs a refund for a trip or booking, contact the dive center directly — not DivePrep. We have no ability to reverse a payment made to a dive center’s account.
Dive centers: your cancellation and refund policy for your customers is yours to set and honor. DivePrep records payment status to help you keep track; the money and the refund decision are yours.
